About Paul Beardsley Arena Theatre

Paul Beardsley Arena Theatre is a dedicated performance space inside Austin College's Ida Green Communication Center in Sherman. Located in the basement of the communication, media studies and theatre facility, Beardsley Arena Theatre provides Austin College with a second named theatrical venue distinct from the larger 500-seat Sally and Jim Nation Theatre. The space has hosted Austin College Theatre Department productions, student-directed plays and other performing-arts programs, as well as Music Department performances such as one-act opera. Public access follows the individual production or scheduled Austin College event.
