About Sally and Jim Nation Theatre

Sally and Jim Nation Theatre is the 500-seat main theatre inside Austin College's Ida Green Communication Center in Sherman. The former Ida Green Theatre was extensively renovated and reopened under the Sally and Jim Nation Theatre name as part of the modernization of the communication center. The venue supports Austin College theatre productions, lectures, conferences, ceremonies, debates, cultural programs and other campus and community events. It is also an approved Austin College facility that outside organizations may request for private or public events, subject to availability, College approval and rental fees.
