Downtown Denison's inaugural Rhythm & Rails Music Festival turns the downtown district into a walkable, multi-venue live music experience on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The current schedule includes: 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Yum Yard, Rust & Vinyl; 12:00-3:00 PM at Lettuce Indulge, Sawyer Guymon; 12:00-4:00 PM at Black Sheep Lounge, Steel City Band; 12:00-4:00 PM at CJ's Coffee Cafe on Main, Luminous Rift hosted by DJ Dynamic Sound; 1:00-4:00 PM at The George Tavern, Kerosene Drifters; 2:30-4:00 PM at Heritage Park, Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group with Dance Xplosion; 4:00-6:00 PM at Copacetic Cowboy, Jon the Revelator; 4:00-6:00 PM at 517 Gallery, Ken Nicholson; 4:00-7:00 PM at The George Tavern, Oliver White; 5:00-7:00 PM at Ivanhoe Ale Works, Victoria Lemons; 5:00-8:00 PM at Black Sheep Lounge, Taylor Walker; 7:00-10:00 PM at Copacetic Cowboy, Tori Smyers; 7:00-9:00 PM at Heritage Park, Elevation by Emerald City Bands; 9:00 PM-1:00 AM at RedRock Saloon, Try Again, Blends and Aztec Grass; and 10:00 PM-midnight at Copacetic Cowboy, Neely Rose. The festival celebrates Denison's railroad heritage, local music scene and downtown businesses, with the headlining Elevation performance presented by Discover Denison.
