Refuge Roundup Festival

The Friends of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge host the Refuge Roundup Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hagerman NWR Visitor Center in Sherman. The day opens with an Early Bird Walk and includes a Christmas Art Glass Sale, lectures on climate change (Prof. George Diggs) and sparrows (Dr. Wayne Meyer), children's activities with Puddles, a master storyteller, live snake and spider displays, a Butterfly Garden walk with monarch tagging, Skins and Skulls, and refuge tram tours. The Ice Hole food truck is on site from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
