Refuge lands, roads and trails are generally open from sunrise to sunset daily. Wildlife Drive operates during daylight hours year-round when conditions permit. The Visitor Center is currently open Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM-5:00 PM and is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Flooding, weather and wildlife-management activities can temporarily close roads or portions of the refuge, so conditions should be checked before a special trip.
