The Chickasaw Nation hosts candlelit walking ghost tours at Fort Washita from Tuesday, October 27, through Saturday, October 31, 2026. Tour departures are at 7:00, 7:45, 8:30 and 9:15 p.m. each night. Guides share ghost stories about the fort's historical residents on the candlelit grounds. Tickets are $5 for each guest; reservations must be made in person or by phone beginning October 1 at 8:00 a.m. No refunds or exchanges. Fort Washita is at 3348 OK-199, Durant, OK 74701.
