Adult Workshop: The Choctaw Drum

The Choctaw Cultural Center presents Adult Workshop: The Choctaw Drum on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Calera. Participants will make their own miniature Choctaw drum while learning how this style of drum became an important part of Choctaw culture and how Choctaw drumming is heard at stickball games and other community events. The workshop is included with admission to the Choctaw Cultural Center.
