About Pecan Grove Park-West
Pecan Grove Park-West is a large City of Sherman park on the west side of Dean Gilbert Lake offering outdoor recreation, family amenities and major community-event space. The park includes six pavilions, an amphitheater with lawn seating for up to 2,000 people, two playground structures, fishing access to Dean Gilbert Lake, restrooms, a walking trail and an 18-hole disc golf course. The amphitheater and grounds support concerts, weddings, community gatherings and other special events, and the park hosts Sherman's annual Lights on the Lake celebration.
