About Sherman Parks & Recreation
Sherman Parks & Recreation is the City of Sherman department responsible for community recreation programming, parks, recreational facilities, athletics, aquatics, facility reservations and a busy schedule of public events. The department manages parks and recreation spaces throughout Sherman while offering activities and special events for children, families, adults and seniors.

The City currently directs park and athletic-field reservations to the Parks & Recreation office at 1002 N Music St Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Individual parks, facilities, programs and events operate on their own schedules.
