About Paul Laird Field at Spend Life Wisely Stadium

Paul Laird Field at Spend Life Wisely Stadium is the longtime home of Southeastern Oklahoma State University football in Durant. Named for legendary Southeastern coach Paul Laird, the field has hosted Savage and Savage Storm football since the 1940s and remains one of the university's principal outdoor athletics venues. The facility currently seats approximately 4,000 spectators and includes Wi-Fi, audio capabilities, two locker rooms and a video board. Major recent improvements include a new artificial-turf playing surface and wrought-iron fencing around the stadium complex and Tailgate Alley. The venue continues to host Southeastern home football games while a major stadium modernization project moves toward its next construction phase.
