About Montgomery Auditorium
Montgomery Auditorium is a historic performing-arts and gathering venue inside Morrison Hall on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. The proscenium auditorium has served generations of students and community audiences through theatrical productions, concerts, opera, lectures, convocations, ceremonies and other special programs. Southeastern's current Special Events information lists a maximum rental capacity of 550 guests, while the University's Theatre program describes Montgomery Auditorium as a 600-seat performance venue. The auditorium remains one of Southeastern's most active arts spaces, hosting Theatre at Southeastern productions, Department of Performing Arts concerts, university ceremonies and the long-running annual Candlelighting concert.
