About Leonard Park

Leonard Park is a 30.05-acre community park and major recreation hub in Gainesville. The park includes picnic areas, grills, playgrounds, rentable pavilions, a stage, lighted baseball and softball fields, restrooms, water fountains and a miniature passenger train that circles the park. The larger Leonard Park complex also includes additional family recreation attractions and regularly serves as a site for festivals, community gatherings, sporting activities and special events.
