15th Annual Power of the Purse

The 15th Annual Power of the Purse, presented by First United Bank, is a women's-only night out that benefits Cooke County United Way and its partner agencies working on youth opportunity, financial stability and healthy lives. It takes place Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center. Tickets include entry, dinner and drinks, and live entertainment, plus an evening of designer and themed purse raffles, high-energy BINGO, Bust or Booty, the Treasure Game and door prizes. Guests are encouraged to dress in tea party attire, Mad Hatter or fancy, and bring a purse or two.
