Free Homecoming Mum Event

The Pottsboro Area Public Library hosts a free homecoming mum-making event where kids and teens can create their own custom mum using provided supplies in Cardinal colors. Participants can personalize their designs with ribbons, flowers, bells, charms, trinkets and themed decorations while celebrating the Texas homecoming tradition. The event is divided into two age sessions: ages 8-11 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with a parent required to accompany the student, and ages 12 and older from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Advance signup is required for both sessions.
