About University of North Texas

The University of North Texas is a major public research university in Denton established in 1890. The Denton campus includes academic, arts, athletics, student-life and community-facing facilities that host concerts, recitals, theatrical productions, art exhibitions, lectures, athletic competitions, ceremonies, conferences and other public events throughout the year. UNT's nationally recognized College of Music alone presents more than 1,000 concerts annually, many of them free.
