Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site preserves the 1916 Bonham home and farm of longtime U.S. House Speaker Sam Rayburn. Operated by the Texas Historical Commission, the site retains original furnishings, photographs, personal belongings, vehicles and farm structures while presenting Rayburn's life, public service and the history of the property through tours, exhibits and special events.
