About Robbie Kubela Rogers Lake Campus
Robbie Kubela Rogers Lake Campus is Austin College's 30-acre recreational, retreat and camping property on the Preston Peninsula at Lake Texoma near Pottsboro. The lakeside site is primarily available to Austin College students, faculty, staff and alumni for day recreation, meetings, retreats and overnight camping, while non-campus organizations may request the property for approved special events. Facilities include a covered pavilion, seasonal restrooms and showers, designated tent campsites, space for RVs and trailers without utility hookups, fire rings and access to Lake Texoma for swimming and other outdoor recreation. The property was dedicated in 1983 in honor of Austin College trustee Robbie Kubela Rogers, whose support funded numerous improvements to the recreational area.

Standard day use is 9:00 AM-10:00 PM and requires valid Austin College community access. The Lake Campus closes during Opening of School weekend, Thanksgiving break, Christmas/New Year break, Spring Break and ACE. Standard entry ends when the gates close at 10:00 PM. Approved special events may have separate access arrangements. Restroom and shower facilities are generally available from the first Monday after Spring Break until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
