Prothro Center at Lake Texoma is a lakeside retreat, conference and lodging center in Pottsboro operated by the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. The property welcomes individuals, families and groups for retreats, conferences, reunions, faith gatherings and other organized stays. Lodging includes the 24-room Prothro Lodge as well as multiple cabins and group accommodations, while meeting options include Wesley Hall, the Lakeview Room and an outdoor pavilion. Guests also have access to Lake Texoma, a sandy beach, swimming pool, more than three miles of hiking and biking trails, outdoor recreation and on-site meal service.
