About Paramotor Flyers

Paramotor Flyers is a family-run powered-paragliding school and adventure-flight operation based at Durant Regional Airport in Durant, Oklahoma. Owner and instructor Shawn Elder offers tandem instructional flights for first-timers, full-day introductory training and complete powered-paragliding instruction for students who want to progress toward solo flight. Training takes place on a private three-acre field at the airport and combines ground handling, equipment instruction, safety education and supervised flying. No previous aviation experience is required for the introductory or tandem experience.
