About Munson Park

Munson Park is a 174-acre City of Denison park offering a broad mix of outdoor recreation, sports and family activities. Its centerpiece is the Munson Park Disc Golf Course, an 18-hole, par-62 course stretching more than 7,000 feet across rolling, wooded terrain. The park also features approximately 2.5 miles of soft-surface nature trails with creek crossings and varied elevation, along with lighted athletic fields, a batting cage, basketball court, playground, open green space, drinking fountains, restrooms and pavilions. The main covered pavilion can be reserved for gatherings, while the disc golf course can accommodate organized tournament rentals.
