Monarch Gardens, formerly known as McKinney Green Gardens, is an educational garden inside Gabe Nesbitt Park featuring more than 60 varieties of drought-resistant plants. Maintained by McKinney Parks and Recreation and Keep McKinney Beautiful volunteers, the garden supports pollinators and wildlife while demonstrating native and water-wise landscaping.
