About Mabee Hall

Mabee Hall is a large banquet, conference and special-event venue inside the Robert J. and Mary Wright Campus Center at Austin College in Sherman. Formally identified as the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation Banquet Hall, the second-floor space is designed for gala events and can accommodate up to 350 guests for a sit-down dinner or speaking engagement. The windowed hall includes access to the Bedford-Lunkley Terrace, and the adjacent Robert and Joyce Johnson Reception Gallery can be used in conjunction with events in Mabee Hall. Austin College regularly uses the venue for symposiums, lectures, luncheons, orientation activities and other campus and community programs, and public visitors and outside groups may request the space through the College's reservation system.
