Loy Lake Park

About Loy Lake Park

Loy Lake Park is a large public recreation area southwest of Denison centered around a roughly 50-acre lake. The broader park spans approximately 200 acres and combines lakeside recreation, fishing, a floating dock and open outdoor space with significant local history. The site was developed in part through Civilian Conservation Corps work during the 1930s and remains an important community gathering place, including serving as the home of Grayson County's annual Holiday Lights display.
