About Kenneth W. Street Courtroom
Kenneth W. Street Courtroom is Austin College's dedicated advocacy and mock-trial facility inside Abell Library in Sherman. Designed as an authentic courtroom rather than a conventional classroom, the space includes a judge's bench, witness stand, attorney tables, jury box and gallery for spectators. The facility supports Austin College advocacy programming and mock trial competition and has also been used to develop skills associated with moot court and mediation. The courtroom was formally dedicated in 2015 in honor of longtime Austin College political science professor, pre-law advisor and public-service mentor Dr. Kenneth W. Street.
