About Dr. Jack R. Pierce Soccer Complex
Dr. Jack R. Pierce Soccer Complex is Austin College's outdoor home venue for men's and women's soccer in Sherman. Located on the northwest side of the Austin College campus, the complex hosts recurring Kangaroo home matches throughout the collegiate soccer season. Dedicated September 30, 2017, the facility honors longtime Austin College biology professor Dr. Jack R. Pierce, an enthusiastic supporter of Kangaroo athletics who also served as the College's NCAA faculty athletics representative. Lighting and dedicated signage were later added to the complex, allowing it to support evening competition as well as daytime matches.
