About House of Eli
House of Eli is a Sherman nonprofit ministry providing a home, support and practical preparation for young men ages 18–21 who have been involved in the juvenile justice system, are aging out of foster care, have experienced incarceration or are facing homelessness. Its immersive transitional-living program combines residential stability, life-skills development, vocational training, mentoring and business entrepreneurship in a Christ-centered family environment designed to help participants build healthy, independent and productive adult lives.
