About Equine Safe Haven

Equine Safe Haven is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit based in Whitesboro that uses horses, mules and donkeys saved from slaughter-risk situations to provide horsemanship, carriage-driving and equine-education opportunities. Programs are especially focused on veterans, people with physical disabilities and economically disadvantaged participants. The organization also participates in and hosts equine events, clinics, driving practices, volunteer activities, fundraisers and community outreach throughout North Texas.
