About College Green

College Green is a park-like outdoor gathering and event space on the Austin College campus in Sherman. Formally dedicated as The College Green in Honor of John D. and Sara Bernice Moseley and Distinguished Faculty, the space occupies the former site of the Student Union Building. Its gently sloping lawn creates a natural amphitheater that Austin College identifies as ideal for outdoor concerts and campus gatherings. College Green hosts orientation activities, festivals, lawn games, concerts and other scheduled College programs and may also be requested for approved events through Austin College's reservation system.
