About Black Box Theater
Black Box Theater is a flexible performance, meeting and special-event space inside the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center & Library in Durant. The theater can accommodate up to 200 people in a chairs-only configuration and supports a variety of table arrangements. Technical amenities include a sound board, wireless microphones, a computer connected to a projector and a large projection screen. The facility also includes dressing rooms and accessible restrooms. Its adaptable layout has supported town hall meetings, weddings and receptions, movie screenings, theatrical productions, county school proms, training events, parties and recurring library programming. The theater is available for public rental through the library.

Published meeting-room and theater availability follows library hours and excludes library holidays. Groups needing security or meeting after normal library hours are charged a $25-per-hour security fee.
