Baker Field is the home baseball venue for the Austin College Kangaroos in Sherman. Located on the Austin College campus directly north of Jerry E. Apple Stadium, the outdoor ballpark hosts the College's home baseball schedule, including conference series, nonconference games and doubleheaders. The facility underwent a substantial renovation associated with the 2007 season, improving the playing field, dugouts and spectator sightlines. Baker Field remains an active Austin College athletics venue and a regular source of spring sports events for Texoma spectators.
